UNIVERSITY OF SCRANTON SOCIAL & DIGITAL MEDIA CONFERENCE (USSDMC)

I, along with 14 other students, during the Spring 2018 semester created the first annual University of Scranton Social & Digital Media Conference. Which was The University of Scranton’s second-largest academic conference in 2019. My role was Event & Speaker Management; Marketing & Publicity. As a team we:



• Worked on all aspects of the event from conceptualization to execution, post-event evaluation and publicity within a period of three months 
• Identified and networked with industry leaders to secure them as panel speakers
• Managed media to get pre-, during- and post-event TV and print media coverage
• Networked with several University stakeholders and departments and raised almost $10,000 for the event
